Berlin • 30 movies in OV/OmU/OmeU versions, shown in 4 open-air cinemas
There’s nothing quite like watching a great film under the open sky. As
the sun sets and the city softens,
Berlin's open-air cinemas come alive - nestled in parks,
courtyards, rooftops, and unexpected corners of the city. It’s where
stories unfold beneath the stars, laughter echoes across lawns, and
warm evenings turn cinematic.
From cult classics to festival favorites, these screenings offer more than just movies - they’re a summer ritual, a date-night dream, a perfect excuse to grab a blanket and some popcorn and fall in love with cinema all over again.

| "Scherbenland" tells the story of a band whose first album began with the question: "Why am I so miserable?" – and of a city transformed by their songs. In the early 1970s, Kreuzberg became a testing ground for a counterculture. With songs like "Destroy What Destroys You," "Everything Changes," and "The Dream Is Over," Ton Steine Scherben gave a voice to a generation. |
