Ingeborg Bachmann - Jemand, der einmal ich war (2026)

In a poetic exploration, director Regina Schilling invites the audience to witness the creative process: actress Sandra Hüller approaches the life of Ingeborg Bachmann—imagining a single day in her life—and lends a haunting presence to her words. Through an artful tapestry of improvised scenes, archival treasures, interviews, and Bachmann’s own writings, the film traverses the author’s key life stages—from her wartime childhood in Carinthia and her rise to stardom within the "Gruppe 47" to her final days in Rome.
