## Description

The Hero of Friedrichstrasse Station tells the story of Micha Hartung (Charly Hübner), a Berlin video store owner on the verge of bankruptcy who unwittingly becomes a hero for all of Germany: When, on the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, a journalist casts him as the mastermind behind the largest mass escape from the GDR, his life is suddenly turned upside down. As an unwilling impostor, Micha becomes entangled in a web of half-truths and blatant lies.
